They had this setup where it was this metal bar, right, and then the camera was on there and then behind me they had this metal bar coming out and then sand bags on that to counterbalance the weight so it was intense.

Peters worked on the new scene on and off during the entire production-30 days in total-which gave him and the crew time to evaluate bits and pieces of the new sequence as it was being put together:
I'm excited for everybody to see it because we've been working hard on it.” They just told me what to do so I didn't really have much to do with it but I was curious to see how they were going to top it and if they could and I think they have. Bryan Schmears over at Second Unit, everybody just made that whole sequence awesome, I thought. Can we top it? They did such a fucking awesome job. Absurd as his classic costume with its silver lightning sash is, it's amazing to see the character actually wearing it - even if it can only be pulled off in the Halloween episode of the strangest show on Disney+.When I visited the Montreal set of X-Men: Apocalypse last summer, the cast and crew were fairly guarded about what, specifically, the new Quicksilver sequence entails, but Evan Peters did have high praise for the team involved in bringing the scene to life: Taylor-Johnson's MCU version wore glorified active wear, while Peters' X-Men version has traditionally favored goggles, street clothes, and the occasional, generic X-uniform. Both live-action incarnations of Quicksilver have diverged quite a bit from their comics inspiration. The crowning achievement of the episode is arguably the way it comfortably puts Pietro in an incredibly accurate comic book Quicksilver costume, complete with a hilariously shameless, gelled-up version of his Wolverine hairdo. though her sole scene in this episode seems to cut against this popular theory. Interestingly, the show even puts Agnes (Kathryn Hahn) in a witch costume, a likely nod to the long-running Agatha Harkness rumors . As such, his colorful Halloween garb is basically a super low-budget cosplay of his garish comic book uniform, which you can easily see when he morphs back into his usual self partway through the episode. Meanwhile, Vision's default look is already a lot like his comic book counterpart, though his colors are quite a bit more muted and his synthezoid surface is considerably more detailed than the relatively smooth uniform he wears in the comics.
